With Samsung, Google, and Apple making the move to phones with smaller bezels, Chinese giant Huawei is joining the trend with their latest phones.
The Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro aren’t much different on the inside, but there are noticeable differences on the outside. The Mate 10 has a slightly smaller screen size, coming in at 5.9 inches instead of the 10 Pro’s 6-inch display. The Pro is also waterproof, with a fingerprint sensor on the back, while the 10 has the fingerprint sensor located on the front of the phone and features a headphone jack and microSD card slot.
While the phones look different externally, they are very similarly specced. Both feature a Kirin 970 CPU, 4GB of RAM, a 4,000mAh battery, 64GB of storage, and dual cameras with f/1.6 lenses. The Pro does have two more expensive models with 6GB of RAM and more storage if that is something you’re looking for. Both phones also use USB-C.
The phones are currently only priced for release in Europe, and it is not known yet if they will be released on a large scale in the US.
