IBM's first ever ThinkPad laptop came out 25 years ago, so Lenovo has decided to capitalize on some nostalgia with their new 25th-anniversary edition of the laptop.
The new laptop is designed to look very similar to the very original model, blue enter button and all. The current generations of the ThinkPad do still have a relatively retro feel, but this is a true throwback to the 90s era of laptop computers.
While the laptop may be made to look older, the inside is as modern as it gets. The 25th-anniversary ThinkPad features Intel’s 7th generation Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, and an Nvidia GeForce 940MX graphics card. It also features a USB-C port (Thunderbolt 3), three regular USB ports, an SD card reader, HDMI port, and a fingerprint sensor.
All of this modern tech packed into a retro package won't come cheap, though. The retro Lenovo ThinkPad starts at $1,899 and supplies are limited.
