YouTuber Review Roundup: iPhone X
Early reviews for the iPhone X are out in full force. What do YouTube's top stars think of Apple's flagship device?

Happy iPhone X review day! Apple, as is customary, has seeded early review units of its to-be-launched flagship device, the iPhone X, to plenty of different media outlets. But there's a bit of a twist this time: Some of the first reviewers to get their hands on Apple's much-anticipated iPhone were YouTubers, and they were able to post their first impressions of the device yesterday, a full day before the gates lifted for everyone else's reviews.

Here's what they thought, along with some of their peers who are now (finally) able to share their own experiences with the iPhone X.

Boredatwork.com: First Impressions

"That's the first thing you notice when you hold the iPhone X: It's comfortable, it is well-built, and this is probably one of the best-looking iPhones ever. Yes, I've said it. I think it is."

UrAvgConsumer: First Impressions

"As I got to spend a little bit more time with the phone, I got to see how responsive and easy [FaceID] was. [...] Honestly, it's just as fast as TouchID when you want to unlock the phone. I thought it was going to be a little bit on the slower side since it has to scan, and then you hit the swipe button. No. As soon as you pick it up, you can swipe it open since it's scanning your face as soon as you touch it."

Soldier Knows Best: First Impressions

"That notch at the top of the display? I forgot it was even there. I don't have any B-roll footage of it, because I didn't notice until I got back in town that I really didn't see it when I was using this phone."

Tech Insider: Twin-Testing the iPhone X

"I was pretty shocked that the iPhone X could really pick apart the details between me and my brother considering some of our own family members can’t tell us apart. So, yeah, it was a pleasant surprise knowing that Brian can't break into my iPhone X and I can’t break into my brother's."

Jonathan Morrison: First Impressions

"I was also really interested to check out portrait mode on the selfie camera because we've all seen how good the Pixel 2 is, so I was curious to see could this even stack up wth that. Initial impressions are: So far, I like it. It does a little bit better of a job in terms of natural skin tones and a more softer image. Sometimes that Pixel 2 is almost over-sharp. But for whatever reason, the iPhone X seemed to hate my ears."
